Because of this, there is a huge opportunity available right now for any business to engage hot prospects by connecting with them via the Internet, where they hang out in their leisure time AND work time. These prospects can be classified into two categories:
Actively Seekers
Why do we stress actively seeking? Well, let’s compare advertising via internet search v.s. other mediums like television, radio, newspapers and magazines. For TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, your ads are being shown to many people, but they are not necessarily interested in what you have to offer. You are HOPING that your ad will spark interest, which is kind of like leaving your business to “chance”. Now, there is nothing wrong with these types of advertising as they do work (just think of how they have helped major corporations get where they are today)!
On the other hand, when someone types in “back pain help vancouver” for example, they really want a solution, and they want it RIGHT NOW. No guess work here, just plain and simple targeted leads. So, that’s why we stress actively seeking, because your prospects are looking for someone (or your business) to solve their problem.
The Wanderers
Now, we just mentioned that there is nothing wrong with with mediums like television, radio, newspapers and magazines because they work and they have been relied on by the big brands for decades. But if you are interested in reaching the mass, there is now an alternative than these traditional mediums that you could explore – online mass media. Since the reach of the Internet is so large, even if the people you are getting in front of aren’t actively looking for you and your service, chances are even if only 0.7% of these people become interested in what you have to offer, you will still end up doing some serious numbers.
The Missing Link
The missing link between the mentioned prospects and your business is an online presence to say, “I am here to help!” or “Hey, check this out” when your prospects are online doing their thing. Which… we can create for you!
